Unsure of wether I should do this. |
|
I downloaded Age of empires 3 from demonoid I have heard it is a reputable site however there is a file they tell me to open before trying to play that says CD-key and it is a Registration Entries (.reg) file. Is it wise to do so? Norton found no Problems with it but I thought Id be sure.

I think it's a registry hack so you are able to play that.
I think it's not a problem but you never know.
Don't blame me when it went wrong

Those "registry hacks" operate very much like when you install a program.
They simply add details to your registry, back up your registry before trying.
They are generally safe (not exclusively) and should be used with caution.
Buying the game of course, is risk free.

Yeah. Always a risk unless its from a shop. lol I've been torrenting for a week now and I'm half tempted to stop now.. The risk's seem to far outway the gain.
