Okay here is a list (below) of what they have and some are for 3 month prices and some for 6 month prices but the regular price after that isn't very much higher as I think as I am not sure but my cost is 34.95 regular cost for extreme I, but I am not 100% sure on that but it is around that price, and internet below the top service all have power boost included to give you a little extra speed for a while.
High speed lite:
The perfect choice for those who email as well as lightly browse the Internet.
1 Mbps download
Up to 1 Mbps download speed
3 personal email addresses
10 GB/month data transfer
8 No-Cost Extras
+ 1st 30 days on us
+ Modem included
$19.95/month for six months (*1)
High speed:
Ideal for those who send a lot of email, download large files,
such as music or TV episodes, and play online games.
7.5 Mbps download
Up to 7.5 Mbps download speed
10 personal email addresses
Includes PowerBoostTM
60 GB/month data transfer
8 No-Cost Extras
+ Modem included
$14.95/month for three months (*2)
High speed extreme:
For those who download large files, appreciate online gaming,
and visit interactive, media-intensive Web sites.
15 Mbps download
Up to 15 Mbps download speed
10 personal email addresses
Includes PowerBoostTM
1 Mbps upload speed
100 GB/month data transfer
8 No-Cost Extras
+ Modem included
$24.95/month for three months (*3)
High speed warp and think nitro is the same:
Download music in seconds and full-length movies in less than
ten minutes*.
25 Mbps download
Up to 25 Mbps download speed
10 personal email addresses
8 No-Cost Extras
2 Mbps upload speed
150 GB/month data transfer
+ Modem included
$96.00 per month (*4)
Now I know the data transfer they allow a month isn't the best and this is why I use a seedbox also, but I have never reached my limit in a month on using extreme I but it works well and pretty fast.
Of course their top service is a little up there in price but this is for extreme user only I think as I don't really need that much for that price, I'll check on that price I am paying for my service to be sure of the price I mentioned above if it is correct or not and will post it in this post.

No way extreme is close to $25 after the first 3 months...I have rogers extreme, 10mbps/1mbps, 100GB/month, no throttle (does shaw throttle?) for about $45 per month + modem rental

Okay it is $39.95 as we have it bundled with tv service and I think stand alone it is around $45-50 as it has gone up in the last little while as I haven't seen a bill for quite a bit as she always has the bill..hehe..I guess that is good in one way, but I still share the cost.
And on that nitro service it is now different than the high speed warp as the nitro for our area (Saskatoon) is 100mbps down and 5mbps up and a 200gb limit per month at a whooping $249.95 at stand alone and if bundled with another service from them only $149.95..here is the info from a magazine.
Shaw rolls Nitro out to other Canadian cities
Shaw Communications -- which has been offering 100 Mbps High-Speed Nitro broadband in Saskatoon, Victoria and Winnipeg -- now is rolling out the service in Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver. The company is offering the DOCSIS 3.0 service for $149 per month when bundled with other offerings.
Date: 10/19/2009
Now I think I heard that they might drop the price a bit but I am not sure at this time but it is still pretty expensive, but the speed would be nice if they dropped it in price a bit more so people can afford it more easy.

Just a little note. My Shaw bill per month goes something like this...
Current monthly sevices
High-Speed extreme..................10.00
High speed Internet...................48.95
Internet Discount.......................-5.00
Promotions
High-Speed Internet Promotion..-35.00
Tax
GST...........................................1.00
--------------------------------------------
Total Current Charges..............$20.95
I think I get about 100 gigs per month.

My dl speed varies, from 20 kb/s to sometimes 500, that's on average. I can't remember what I'm actually supposed to have, somewhere in the lower Mb/s...up speed in actuality varies between 15 to 115 kb/s...again, I'm not sure if I'm getting the speeds I'm paying for. Also, I didn't mention there earlier I'm on a year promo, after that I'll have to pay for the Extreme. Hop[efully by that time they'll have Internet phone in my area too, then I can bundle. Any comments on speed? From what others are saying my speeds are pretty average.

Thanks for that tip, I did go to speedtest.net and again I got 'latency error'.
So, I tested both @ Shaw and dsl and came up with an average of about 2 Mb/s download speed and an average of 550 kb/s upload speed. Latency average 175-200.
My speeds are way lower than they were a month or so ago. Also I got a warning for 3 out of 4 tests at dsl that isp upload compression detected. Again, this result is rather new, I only started to get a warning message like that about a month or so ago.
Hmm.
I don't believe I have a port forward problem, as my torrents usually have the "green happy face" that lets me know my connection is good.
Thanks TrueTroop for letting me know something is maybe wrong.

Sounds like your isp provider is throttling your p2p activity maybe or is it faster at night time then during the day when more people are using the internet.

I'd recommend calling them (Shaw)...speedtest.net uses a java-based test, and can't test throttling as far as I know. 2mb/s down and 500kb/s up doesn't match up either
Keep me posted.

Something seems goofy here. I subscribe to shaw high speed and this is the speed that speed test claims I get. The fastet I've ever downloaded is 1.5 Mb/s from a dedicated server and if I use torrent the fastest I've ever downloaded was 980Kb/s. On avergae I download from 500Kb/s - 800Kb/s
