internet Archives is a public domain site with large amounts of every kind of download. I.e. The 'moveing Picture' (Movies) section has movies from the turn of the 20th century. It has many other sections and is well supported by industry and people who use it and upload any public domain they may have. many also download and then upload to various torrent sites. It has ,for instance most if not all of C.Chaplins movies including the first one he made after leaving Fatty Arbuckles employ.
Downloading from the site is simply a matter of right clicking for a direct and speedy download. (No seeding) Not everything is old much is fairly new including a wonderful animation that I note has just been uploaded to Demonoid and was made less than 1 year ago. It has been well praised by leechers, one going so far as to say' Best animation of the past year'.
I recommend it unreservidly for anyone but in particular those who are seeking older stuff.

MEH... direct download sites suck and have no bearing on a bittorrent forum
